There’s one thing I’ve noticed a lot of lately when it comes to marketing. People confuse it with advertising and the tactical things like Facebook, Instagram and others.
Marketing is problem solving.
So if you’re in the business of solving problems for your customers, like you should be, you’re doing marketing right.
Where we go wrong is when we are self-serving and forget that we are here to serve the customer, not our bank account.
Quit wasting time doing things things that don’t matter. Stop with the link drops. Run away from the endless cycle of social media posts that are completely invaluable to someone’s life.
Instead, create value. Create shareable content. Create something worth talking about. Because then you’re no longer part of the noise, but part of the solution.
