People are unique and they care about certain things more than others. So it stands to reason that if we seek to serve a specific type of person, we will find the niche that we want to serve and can connect with.
I know this because there are people on Facebook talking about how they can’t fit their hands in Pringles tubes, pet groomers whose clients are moving and even a group that cleans public toilets in Japan.
If you have a product, there is an audience. The thing you have to pay attention to is if it’s large enough to sustain your business goals. Finding that minimum viable audience is key to your success and there is no replacement for that.
The better way to do things is to find an audience you want to serve, figure out their problem and then build things that will help.
It’s there that you’ll find the true fans that will spread your message to other people you seek to serve.
